Each person has the answers they need within.
Belief Psychotherapy helps you look closely at the beliefs you grew up with, let go of the ones that hold you back, and strengthen the ones that serve you.
An eclectic therapy built from three traditions
Our experience of life unfolds from our belief system. Many of those beliefs are formed in early childhood and never examined. Together we notice them, question them, and choose again.
Person-centered
Rooted in the psychology of Carl Rogers. You lead; I listen closely and reflect back what I hear.
Spiritual psychology
Informed by the writings of Louise Hay and Mahatma Gandhi, and a specialization in spiritual psychology.
Change through action
Drawing on the call to action of the twelve steps: simple self-interventions to practice between sessions, so the work continues when you are on your own.
Ways we can work together

Crispin Kitto, MA, LMFT
I grew up at a school for “maladjusted” children that my parents ran, so the language of psychology has been with me as far back as I can remember. Before becoming a therapist I was a chef for forty years, a classical guitarist, and a single parent to two daughters.
I will meet you on your terms, informed and aided by my training and experience.
“My goal is to help my clients hone their belief system to one that translates into a more fulfilling living experience.”
A garden room in Oxford Square
Sessions take place in the back garden of my home, just south of Hancock Park, or online by video. Doves, finches, chickens and a dog share the space, and many clients find them both entertaining and grounding.
